DtD has been appointed to provide strategic marketing and fundraising consultancy to Age Concern Slough & Berkshire East (ACSABE) – the largest charity in the region.
As well as helping to develop a five-year marketing and events plan for ACSABE, the agency will provide more practical, day-to-day support in the form of ad design, media planning and PR for the charity’s social enterprise businesses.
The activity kicked off with a ‘Rolling it Back to 79’ launch party, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of ACSABE’s launch and its move to new premises.
Donna managed to persuade the chief executive to make a presentation to Slough’s great and good dressed as a 70s disco diva and then manoeuvred the Mayor, the local MP and the Leader of the Council into mirror shades and a ribbon cutting ceremony with an Elvis impersonator and a 74 year old in an afro wig.
Yes, yes, we know Elvis died in ’76, but it’s any excuse for a rhinestone cat suit around here frankly.
Come back Dave! We said cat SUIT...
