Oo-er, davethedog has gone all cultured…
In the true spirit of townies escaping to village life Donna has joined the local choir and been snapped up by the organisers of the Leith Hill Music Festival to pitch in with some pro bon(i)o PR support.
In between a frantic rehearsal schedule for the 103rd annual concert season and bossing the team about in the office, she was popping up all over local and national radio to plug ticket sales for the three-day festival, held at Dorking Halls in Surrey.
She was even interviewed by Aled Jones for Radio 3, which went very well, once she had got over the disappointment that he was now 38 and didn’t want to go to the park and play on the swings.
Dave has been very supportive of Donna’s home rehearsals, joining in with some very tuneful singing of his own. At least that’s what she tells us he is doing.
A howling success all round it seems.
